Travel
The nearest airport is Faro in Portugal (45 minutes by car). Other possibilities are Seville (90 minutes) or Jerez (2 1/2 hours).
Car hire is recommended and our agents can arrange it for you with a good local company at competitive rates.
However, if you choose not to hire a car you will find everything you need within walking distance and we can arrange transfers to/from Faro at very reasonable rates.

Further details
Nearest banks/cash points are on the road into Ayamonte (parking outside).
There is a good mini-market by the marina (3 minutes walk) selling all the basic necessities and souvenirs etc. In Ayamonte the best supermarkets are Eroski (on the way into town) and SuperSol (by the River - follow signs to the ferry).
For a wider range visit the Costa de la Luz centre in Huelva (department store / hypermarket) or the Algarve Centre in Faro (Jumbo hypermarket, range of shops, food hall etc).
