Notes on accommodation
Please note there is strictly no smoking in the apartment (smoking is permitted on the terrace).
A
heater is provided for out of season lets. The apartment faces North
West so remains comfortably cool even in the middle of summer. There is
a large ceiling fan in each bedroom.

Outside
Shared swimming pool with loungers, showers and toilets. The pool is
not heated but we have enjoyed a swim in late October. There is a small
garden by the pool.
Coast/Beach
The lovely beach is just a short (5 minutes) walk from the apartment.
It is long and deep with soft golden sand. There is a bar/restaurant,
showers and umbrellas/loungers for hire. Even in the high season it is
never overcrowded.
There
are many other excellent beaches within a short drive, one of the best
being on Tavira Island across the border into Portugal.
Golf
There are a number of golf courses in the locality with more being
constructed. The nearest is situated on Isla Canela itself just 2 km
from the apartment. According to its
website:
The golf course has 18
holes, the ground being characterised by gentle slopes formed by dunes
and a beautiful countryside with olive, orange and eucalyptus trees.
The design of the holes combines precision, strength and dexterity in
their proper proportions.
